Aashna Singh

In Aashna we have an adventurer and a risk taker. Her curiosity and keen eye for detail bring depth to her understanding of the startup ecosystem. She loves solving challenges (brainteasers included!) and looks forward to working with founders who are solving real-world problems.

Prior to joining Sorin, Aashna worked with Amazon Clinic in the USA, where she collaborated with business leaders to evaluate new opportunities for launch, recommended business models, and conducted financial/returns analysis. Aashna has also worked with AWS, where she was directly responsible for planning and forecasting $8B in cost-line items, and Evolv Ventures, where she focused on agritech and sustainability related investments. She began her career as a corporate debt trader at Deutsche Bank where she managed a book of $250M bonds across consumer and industrial sectors. Aashna has a B.Sc. in Computational Finance and Statistics from Carnegie Mellon, and an MBA in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Chicago Booth.
